Service Description

In this class pack, we will learn about basic emotions, like: fear, anger, sadness, and happiness. We'll talk about why it's important to pay attention to our feelings and what happens when we don't. We will also learn that none of these emotions are bad and that it's ok for us to feel whatever it is we are feeling, regardless of our age and whether we are boys or girls. Through movement, music, writing and/or drawing- I'll share some tools that we can use to constructively process emotions so that they don't end up blocking us or becoming harmful to us. In the first session we'll talk about what emotions are and begin to break them down in ways that we can understand them. In the second session we will practice applying different tools and tips that will help us process and release them. In the third one, we'll continue exploring some tools and talk about why it's so important to express and pay attention to our emotions. There will be some homework assigned after each session so that each child can begin noticing their emotions and also, so they can become aware of the tools that are most effective for them. This is a short course that intends to plant some seeds that will hopefully grow through practice so that they eventually became a habit. Things we'll need: -Sheets of paper or notebook -Markers, colored pencils or crayons -Wear comfy clothing


Cancellation Policy

You can cancel a session 24 hours in advance and get a refund, minus the payment processing fee. For rescheduling a session, please do so at least 2 hours ahead of time.  The same applies in the case of class packs, and refunds would be prorated. There is a 10 minute waiting grace period for each class.
